This is not your usual SQL Server User Group event. At SQL Social our aim is to give YOU the opportunity to meet with MVPs, well-known speakers, experienced professionals & industry experts and ask them about the data-related topics that matter to you. It is an opportunity to meet new people, make new friendships and find out what is going on in the data industry in Melbourne.

As we have mentioned at previous events, we want to encourage you to take your first steps as a new speaker. Julian Tintinger – Augmented Analytics

Julian is a Principle Consultant at Triatin. He has 32 Years experience in Information technology, 20 in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. Drafted to Marines after high school before being trained in Cobol programming by IBM.

He used this experience in Retail applications for 10 years, after which he started in Data Warehousing on MS Access, Oracle and SQL server. He founded Triatin 11 years ago.

He is passionate about data, numbers, and helping people experience as many “Aha!” moments as he can.

Gartner calls it “The next disruption in Analytics and BI”. It has also been called “The future of BI”. Augmented Analytics is here and as a paradigm is changing the architecture and model in corporate Business Intelligence around the world.

Julian has been working on Augmented BI with Triatin’s SQL Server based ABBIE product, developing a way to augment existing data warehouses by quickly bringing predictive analytics, metric reporting and whole world views to business intelligence consumers.

This session will provide an overview of Augmented Analytics and the ABBIE platform.
